By using Splicewire ("the Service"), you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Splicewire for any of the following:

  • Any illegal activity or activity that violates applicable laws
  • Abuse, harassment, spam, or unauthorized access to accounts or systems
  • Reverse engineering, scraping, or otherwise extracting the underlying technology of the platform itself
  • Uploading malicious content, including viruses, malware, or content designed to disrupt the Service

Data Ownership

You own your data. Any data you upload to Splicewire remains yours.

By using the Service, you grant Splicewire a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This includes sending data to AI providers for embeddings and completions as described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights to any data you upload. Do not upload data you do not have permission to use.

Service Availability

Splicewire is provided "as is." We do not guarantee any specific level of uptime or availability.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes in advance.

Termination

Splicewire may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms.

You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, you may request deletion of your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Splicewire's total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim. During free or beta periods, this amount is $0.

In no event shall Splicewire be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
